Old and authentic Afghan Ring from the early 20th century in solid silver: see the 925 hallmark (photos). This hallmark indicates the jewelry is made of solid silver, meaning it consists of 92.5% pure silver. It is adorned with an oval cabochon in carnelian featuring an intaglio of a scorpion. The bezel is decorated with 10 small claws that hold the stone.

The shoulders of the ring are embellished with beautiful arabesques. Dimensions of the agate: 1.9 cm x 1.4 cm. Inner diameter: 56 on the ring sizer.
