This piece features meticulous translucent enamel work, gilded floral motifs, small white pearls, and red cabochons, in the purest tradition of regional Bresse jewelry. Bressan enamels, developed mainly in Bourg-en-Bresse from the 19th century onward, are renowned for their vibrant colors, refined floral patterns, and artisanal craftsmanship. The solid silver mount is highlighted by a beaded border. The reverse is left plain, in keeping with many pieces from this period.
