Ancient and authentic Afghan ring from the early 20th century in solid silver: see the 925 hallmark (photos). This hallmark marks jewelry in solid silver, meaning composed of 92.5% pure silver.

It is adorned with an oval carnelian stone with an intaglio representing a scorpion. The setting is decorated with 10 small claws that enclose the stone. The shoulders of the ring are decorated with beautiful arabesques. Dimensions of the carnelian: 1.9 cm x 1.4 cm.
