Antique, attractive large solid silver stew spoon. Plain model with a small cross-hatched decoration on the spoon bowl.
This spoon bears the marks of the Fermiers Généraux. Maker’s mark of silversmith Joseph Jacquot, silversmith in Épinal, Vosges, circa 1748. Also marked with the Lorraine cross for the 800/1000 silver standard.
