Antique English Hunting/Pocket Flask, Blown Glass, Leather, Solid Silver, 19th Century

  
A very beautiful English whisky flask made of glass, leather, and solid silver. It is quite rare to find this level of quality in a portable flask of this type. The craftsmanship of a great maker is easily evident.

The glass is curved and carefully covered with beautifully tanned tawny leather, featuring a slit to see the fill level. The silver parts have a hammered appearance to minimize the visibility of any potential usage scratches. The cap closes with a half turn of the lid, ensuring airtightness through the pressure of the cork inside, which is still present.

The removable cup is fitted and remains in place, serving as a base with a flat bottom. It is gilded on the inside and weighs 67g. Numerous hallmarks and a beautiful patina.
