Beautiful old solid silver bracelet from Rajasthan. This bracelet can be easily identified and dated because of the English colonial influence on its design.

Traditionally, these pieces of jewelry are kept closed in place with a pin inserted into the body of the piece; on this model, however, the clasp uses a screw system that works in the opposite direction to other European screw threads, indicating its British origin. The wear patina adds to the other charming features of this beautiful ethnic object.
