Set of 12 antique vermeil and mother-of-pearl knives by Lavallée Silversmith

  
Set of 12 antique table knives in vermeil (gilded solid silver) and mother-of-pearl, made by Lavallée Orfèvre - F. Nicloud, successor, located at 19 Boulevard de Strasbourg in Paris. The blades are made of vermeil, bearing the Minerva 1st standard hallmark (950/1000). The handles are made of natural mother-of-pearl, each adorned with a monogram "DB". The entire set is presented in its original red leather case, with metal clasps, featuring a gold marking "D. Characteristic work from the late 19th century / early 20th century, representative of Parisian silversmithing of that period.
