Ancient and authentic Roman child's bracelet in solid silver, 2nd-3rd century AD. It is an open bracelet ending with two zoomorphic heads: stylized snake heads. The two heads are not identical, one being slightly smaller than the other. The snake's scales are represented by crosshatched lines. On the outer body of the bracelet, there are two or three notches (see photos).
It is a small bracelet that must have belonged to a child or young adult. Condition: Quite good, cleaned by a professional. Dimensions: inner width: 5.5 cm - inner height: 5.2 cm. Provenance: Cyprus - Private collection. The island of Cyprus was part of the Roman Empire from 58 BC.
